Il regista del film Wanted, Prabhu Deva, ha dichiarato che il suo prossimo film sarà con Akshay Kumar protagonista. Il film sarà prodotto da Sanjay Leela Bhansali e dalla costumista Shabina Khan. Il film non sarà un remake come il precedente Wanted in quanto la sceneggiatura è nuova. La co-protagonista femminile di Akshay non è stata ancora scelta.
